Obituary

LUTHER A. SCOTT

Funeral services for Luther A. Scott, who died in Baltimore, Md., on Monday morning, November 12 [1951], after a short illness, were conducted at the grave in the Beaver Dam Cemetery on Thursday afternoon [November 15, 1951] at 1:00 o'clock by Rev. Edwin G. Thornton, pastor of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

The pallbearers were J. Vaughan Boole, S. V. Baker, Tommy Daughtrey, R. R. Lankford, R. L. Miles, and Terry Steinhart.

Mr. Scott was the son of the late George W. and Virginia Anne Scott of Southampton County. Surviving him are several nieces and nephews.
