Mr. Scott served in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and in the Army during the Vietnam War with the Special Forces. He retired from the Army after twenty years of command military service with rank of Command Sergeant Major. Mr. Scott was a private investigator. Mr. Scott was a member and former deacon of the Pawleys Island Community Church. He was also member of the Marine Corps League and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #11439.
