Scott, Claude Fenton Sr., age 85, of Emporia, passed away on 18 February 2010. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Scott; his sons, Claude Scott Jr. and wife, Michelle, and John R. Scott and wife, Jill; grandchildren, Megan, Daniel, Matthew, and Joseph; his brothers, L.L. Scott and wife, Acree, and Jack Scott and wife, Frances; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, 20 February 2010, at Echols Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Interment will follow in Emporia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Youth Group of Calvary Baptist Church or Samaritan House of Emporia.
