Gertrude Schmidt 85, Passed on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Saint Ann's Hospice wing in Miami FL.  

She was born on February 20, 1930 in Graz, Austria.  

As a child she was raised in Enschendorf, Austria where she met her future husband George Schmidt.  

Gertrude is survived by her husband of 62 years, her children Gunther & his wife Andrea, Sylvia & her husband Tommy, George & his wife Ronda. Grandchildren: Skye, Jade, Emily, Gregory, Raymond, Ryan, and her great grandchild Tanner.  

She is also survived by her two brothers Alois & Helmut Eder.  

The Family will be receiving friends and relatives on Thursday February 18 at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville NY 10927, between the hours of 4pm and 8pm. A Funeral mass will be held on Friday February 19 at Saint Gregory Barbarigo RC Church, 21 Cinder Rd, Garnerville, NY.  

Following the mass Gertrude will be laid to rest at Saint Peters Cemetery in Haverstraw NY.
