Frank Randy Sawyer, 42, McKenney, Va., engineer for the C&P Telephone Co. through the Richmond engineering office, died Friday 02 Nov, 1979. Mr. Sawyer was a deacon and teacher of the Adult Sunday School Class of McKenney Baptist Church. 

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sue Sawyer; two sons, David Wayne and Mark Randolph Sawyer, all of McKenney: mother, Mrs. Ann Sawyer Brett and stepfather, Joe Brett, both of Suffolk: his father, Louis Sawyer of Petersburg: one brother, George Sawyer, Denver. Colo.: three sisters, Selina Bryan, Lumberton, N.C., Jo Brett Powell, Richmond, and Kay Brett Hord, Churchland, Va. 

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday 4 November 1979 2:30 P.M. in the McKenney Baptist Church. Interment in Asbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the McKenney Baptist Church Building Fund.
