Frank Savino 11 OCT 1919 - 16 NOV 2011 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SAVINO, Frank Frank M. Savino, 92, of Manchester, beloved husband of Olga A. "Squeeg" (Brozowski) Savino, died Wednesday November 16, 2011 at Manchester Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Frank was born October 11, 1919 in Manchester, son of the late Giuseppe and Antionetta (Cam-panelli) Savino and had been a lifelong resident. Frank was a 1938 Graduate of Manchester High School and later enlisted in the U. S. Army serving during W W II. He was a communicant of St. James Church in Manchester, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Campbell Council and the Manchester Army & Navy Club. Mr. Savino was active as a coach in both the Little League and Alumni Baseball programs in Manchester. He retired as Foreman of the Blades Dept. in 1981 after 42 years with Hamilton Standard. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by four children, Francis Savino and his wife Christine, Joseph Savino and his wife Joanie, Jo-Ann Lerner and her husband Earle and Denise Voog all of Manchester. Other survivors include his daughter-in-law Mary Savino also of Manchester, his brother William Savino of East Windsor, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son John E. Savino and three brothers, Michael, Daniel and Edward. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 19, 2011 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. at St. James Church 896 Main St., Manchester. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
