Andrew H. Saba, 59, of 1009 Farm-to-Market Rd., Endwell, died at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Saturday, 20 May 1989, at 10:35 a.m. after a brief illness.  

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susan N. Saba, Endwell; one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Douglas Kent, Harpursville, NY; one grandson, Michael Kent; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Edward Hill, Raleigh, NC, and Ruth and Roger L. Dimick, Johnson City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Barbara Saba, Huntsville, Alabama, and George and Tina Saba, Rainbow Lake, NY; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, Endwell; a retired IBM employee who retired after 32 years of service; and a member of its Quarter Century Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Triple Cities Symphony for several years, a member of the Binghamton Philharmonic Band for 35 years, and a member of the IBM Band for 32 years. He played in the Jazz Band Ball, Dixie Band, and most recently in Touch of Class.  

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. from Northminster Presbyterian Church at Hooper Rd. and Farm-to-Market Rd., Endwell. The Rev. Barry Downing, pastor of Northminster Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Andrew may be made to Roswell Park Memorial Institute, 666 Elm St., Buffalo, NY 14263.
