Norma Svanhild Hanson Rudie 2 OCT 1923 - 13 AUG 1982 Bryant Mrs. William (Norma) Bryant, 58, of 2187 S. 85th St., West Allis, formerly of Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon, Aug. 13, at West Allis Memorial Hospital, Allis, Wis. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard E. Lind will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Mrs. Bryant, nee Norma Rudie, was born Oct. 2, 1923, at Manitowoc, daughter of Florence Williamson Hanson Rudie and her late father, Elton Hanson, and her late stepfather, Oscar Rudie. She was educated in the Manitowoc School System and Michael Reese Hospital: School of Nursing, Chicago, Ill. She was married to William A. Bryant in May of 1944, at First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Mrs. Bryant worked as an obstetric nurse at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. She then moved to West Allis in 1958 where she was employed by the United States Post Office, retiring in 1976. Survivors include her husband, William A. Bryant of West Allis; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Karen Bryant of Sacramento, Calif., William Patrick and Paige Bryant of Cleveland, Wis., Grant Lee Bryant of Milwaukee, and Randail Bryant of West Allis; four daughters and three sons-inlaw, Lenore and Ronald Jost of Cleveland, Wis., Rickie Jean Beilfuss of West Allis, Katherine and Thomas R Rozanski of Bayview, Wis., and Candace and Mark Manzke of West Allis; her mother, Florence Hansen Rudie of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4. o'clock to 9 o'clock this Sunday afternoon and at the church Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
