Rose's Hog Market, Courtland, for 41 years. Mr. Rose was a member of Walter's Ruritan Club and Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Billye Jeayne Martin Rose; a daughter, Cindy Glover of Carrsville; two sons, Richard Mark Rose of Greensboro, N.C., and Martin Rose of Elon, N.C.; two sisters, Louise R. McDaniel of Walters and Alma R. Richardson of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, J.L. Rose Sr. of Walters and Leroy Rose of Williamsburg; and six grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday in Holland-Rideout Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert J. Bennett. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Christian Church Cemetery, Walters.
