Born on November 21, 1942 in Suffolk, she was a daughter of the late Charles Allen and Ellen Morris Dupree. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Frances D. Simmons and Maryellen D. Snyder. Linda was a retired sales service secretary for Union Camp Corporation. She was a longtime member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Jerusalem Chapter 2489, Courtland, VA. Linda joined the chapter on May 25, 2003 and was the Recording Secretary from September 20003 to 2010, the Chapter Registrar from 2006 to 2007, served as the Chapter President from 2010 to 2013, served as Chapter Vice President from 2014 to 2017 and served as Second Vice President from 2017 to 2018. She served on the Board of Directors of Mahones Tavern and Museum and was a longtime member of High Street United Methodist Church. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 62 years, Olden Douglas Rogers, Jr.; two sons, Olden Douglas Rogers, III (Tammy) of St. Petersburg, FL and Charles Allen Dupree "Tank" Rogers (Crystal) of Franklin; and three grandchildren, Augustus Rogers, Cali Adisyn Rogers, and Alaina Madisyn Rogers. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, in High Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne Moore officiating.
