Wayne W. Rhodes, 67, of 1208 Cary St. died Thursday, 29 September 1987, in Alamance County Hospital.  

Rhodes was a native of Robeson County. He was the owner of Wayne Rhodes Jewelries Inc., and was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church.  

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Grove Park Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Roy P. Taylor. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.  

Rhodes is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine Allen Rhodes; a daughter, Mrs. Kathy Collier of Burlington; his mother, Mrs. Etta Hardin Rhodes of Proctorville; three sisters, Mrs. Ann Driggers and Mrs. Neta Brewer, both of Proctorville, and Mrs. Ruth Roberts of Fayetteville; and three brothers, Lannox Rhodes and Fentrice Rhodes, both of Proctorville, and Jack Rhodes of Kinston.  

Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington is handling arrangements.
