Mrs. Turner, 84, Dies In Hospital  

SMITHFIELD - Mrs. Lottie Virginia Turner, 84, of Smithfield died Friday 27 April 1962 in Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, after a short illness.  

Widow of John David Turner, she was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County and a member of Collosse Baptist Church.  

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. A. R. Butler of Suffolk, Mrs. P. L. Edwards Smithfield, and Ralph Bowden of Carrsville; four sons, Lloyd L. Turner of Windsor, Thurman Turner and J. D. Turner, both of Smithfield, and Raby L. Turner of Norfolk; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday 29 April 1962 in Bullock Funeral Home, Smithfield, with the Rev. Donald E. Trump, pastor of Collosse Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Warren F. Taylor, pastor of Smithfield Baptist Church. Burial will be in Collosse Baptist Church cemetery.
