Redd, retired farmer, dies at age 62 WALTERS - Wilbur Linton (Jack) Redd, 62, passed away Friday afternoon [5 June 1964] in a Franklin hospital after a prolonged illness. A retired farmer and peanut broker, he was a native of Isle of Wight County and a devoted member of Colosse Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise Bland Redd; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille R. Johnson of Newport News and Miss Jacqueline Redd of Walters; two sons, Cecil Ray Redd and Charles Redd, both of Walters; his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Crumpler Redd; four sisters, Mrs. Leona Spivey of Carrsville, Mrs. Francis Spivey of Norfolk, Mrs. Belva Powell, and Mrs. Mahailey Spivey, both of Windsor; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday [8 June 1964] at W.J.M. Holland and Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald E. Trump, pastor of Colosse Baptist Church; the Rev. William A.
