She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church and her hobbies included gardening, crafts, and being an artist of many beautiful paintings. A thousand times over Irene was the best Mother. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 69 years William Randolph; daughters, Carolyn Hammond and husband Jeffrey of Chesapeake, Barbara Landers of Elizabeth City, NC, Patricia Coco of Suffolk; sister-in-law, Ellen Jean Molter and husband Don of Richland Springs, TX; granddaughter, Laurie Lynn Wells and husband Todd of Elizabeth City, NC; four great-great-granddaughters, Amber Coco, Holly Edwards, Callie Wells, Jessica Wells and two great-great-grandsons Kellan Coco Wells and Braxton Gibson. 

A Funeral Service for Irene will be held Thursday May 28, 2015 at 1 p. m. at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk with a committal at Albert G. Horton Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at BakerFoster.com.
