HOMER STANLEY 'BILL' RAIFORD HARTFIELD - Homer Stanley "Bill" Raiford, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 20,2003, in Walter Reed Convalescent Center. He was a native of Ivor, Va., and the widower of Vivian Millnor Raiford. He was retired from Catalytic Contracting Co. and an operating engineer. He was the oldest member of the Operators Engineer Union, Local #147. He is survived by his sons, Gene Carlton Raiford of Woods Cross Roads, Va., and Stanley Douglas Raiford of Hartfield, Va.,; and two step-grandsons, Jeremy and Joshua Bryan. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, in Parklawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Michael Gray.
