George Fox Raiford Dies, Aged 61, at Ivor

FRANKLIN July 29 － George Fox Raiford, 61, resident of Ivor community his entire life, died at the home of his brother, Burgess Raiford, Friday night. Mr. Raiford was the son of Everett and Martha Johnson Raiford, of Southampton County. He was a member of Corinth Friends'Church since early childhood, and operated a store near Belin for many years.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. L. J. Winslow and Mrs. H. P. White, of Belvidere, N. C., and two brothers, Burgess and Jerry Raiford, both of Ivor. The body was taken to the funeral home of W. J. M. Holland and Sons, where it will remain until Sunday, when it will be taken to Corinth Friends' Church for services at 4 P. M. Interment will be in the family cemetery near Ivor.
