SUFFOLK-Funeral services for Livious Clyde Powell, 55, who died Monday night [10 Jun, 1963] will be conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. (EDST) [13 Jun, 1963] at the Liberty Spring Christian Church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Southampton County, Va., he was an electrical contractor here for about 25 years. He had participated in many horse shows in Virginia and North Carolina. Ht is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie Whitley Powell; daughter, Mrs. Alton R. Langley of Orange Cove. Calif.: one son. L. C. Powell Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Merrill Powell of Boykin, Va. and several grandchildren.
