Mrs. Lillie P. Rose  

SUFFOLK - Mrs. Lillie Powell Rose, 85, of 400 Central Ave., died Sunday 31 October 1982 at the Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.  

Born in Suffolk, she was the oldest member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Senior Fidelity Sunday School Class and the First Baptist Senior Citizens.  

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Violet R. Barton of Windsor, and Mrs. Daisy R. Salmon and Mrs. Pansy R. Burns, both of Suffolk; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.  

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday 02 November 1982 in First Baptist Church by the Rev. Wayne W. Poplin.  

Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church from the funeral home at noon Tuesday 02 November 1982. The family is at the residence.
