Cullen Porter Obituary Cullen Joseph Porter June 26, 1998 - December 3, 2015 Franklin- Cullen Joseph Porter, 17, beloved son, brother and friend passed away December 3, 2015. Cullen was a Senior at Franklin High School and was a great kid who always had a smile on his face and had been active in many school activities including the tennis team, boys soccer, cross country, the wrestling team, the robotics team and drama club. He was a part time employee at The Village at Woods Edge and was just beginning to map out his future by joining the US Navy this past summer and was going to report for active duty this coming July after graduation. Left to cherish his memory is his mother and step father, Stacia and Geoffery Hall of Franklin, his father, Kevin Porter and his wife Stacy of Hampstead, NC, one sister, Morgan Hall, one brother, Christopher Hall both of the residence, two half- brothers, Trent Porter and Jace Porter of NH, two step sisters, Ashlee Hunt and Emilee Hunt and one step brother, Colby Hunt all of NC, maternal grandmother, Brenda Grace of NH, paternal grandparents, Lauren Grace of NH and Benjamin Porter of VT, step paternal grandparents, Rebecca and Robert McLaughlin of Virginia Beach. Cullen was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Marjorie Grace and Ronald Grace. The funeral will be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Dillon officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9PM and suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made in Cullen s name to the Ruth Camp Campbell Memorial Branch of the Blackwater Regional Library, 280 North College Dr., Franklin, VA 23851.
