Eddie Eugene Poarch, age 38, died July 26, 1996. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca P. Poarch of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Crystal Gayle Poarch, both of Skippers; one son, Randy Eugene Poarch of Skippers; his mother, Sadie T. Porch; his father and stepmother, Eddie Lee and Peggy Porch of Gaston, N.C. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Echols Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Greenfield Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Greenfield Emporia Volunteer Rescue Squad.
