Percy T. Duck  

FRANKLIN - Percy Thomas Duck, 63, died Saturday [18 July 1959] at 12:30 p.m. in Raiford Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and a retired farmer. He moved to the Franklin community about 25 years ago.  

He was a member of the Black Creek Baptist Church. He was the husband of Mrs. Mary Bradshaw Duck and the son of Tony and Mrs. Sarah Duck of Isle of Wight County. Besides surviving are one son, Percy Lee Duck of Smithfield; one sister, Mrs. Lena B. Johnson of Franklin; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services will be conducted at the W. J. M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home on Monday [20 July 1959] at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery near Walters.
