Franklin, Feb. 5. Funeral services will be held at Colosse Baptist Church Friday [7 February 1948] at 2:30 p.m. for Mrs. Martha Catherine Darden, 78, wife of William W. Darden, of Carrsville, who died at her home Wednesday [4 February 1948] afternoon after an illness of a few weeks. Officiating will be the Rev. Jack Boyles and burial will be in the Colosse Baptist Church cemetery.
