Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Mr. Parker died Saturday [28 Dec 1963] near Conway after suffering a heart attack. He was the first and only vocational agriculture teacher at Littleton High School, serving for 32 years in the post. The former vocational teacher here was a member of the N.C. Agriculture Teachers Association and was a member of the Littleton Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Parker: one daughter, Mrs. Peter Schmidt of Scotch Plains, N.J.: one son, A. W. Parker Jr. of the home; two sisters. Mrs. J. C. Parker and Mrs. R. D.
