CARRSVILLE - Carlton R. Outland Jr., 44, of Route 1, died Monday, 3 November 1986, in his home. Born in Suffolk, he was the owner and operator of Outland Farms.  

He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church and its Friendship Bible Class and the Virginia Pork Producers Association. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jean Blythe Outland; his parents, Mae and Carlton Outland Sr.; two daughters, Miss Teresa Carol Outland and Miss Tara Lynne Outland; a son, Carlton Kevin Outland; and a sister, Mrs. Joyce O. Bradt of Waynesboro.  

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery by the Revs. Mitchell Luckie and Donald Trump. The family will receive friends at the residence. Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home is in charge.
