Mr. Oldham was a native of Pinehurst, NC, a son of the late Donald and Fannie Bosworth Oldham. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Shirley B. Oldham, two sisters, Raybe and Frances, and three brothers, William, Vernon, and Byron. Mr. Oldham was a retired paper maker from Union Camp Corporation, a member of Sedley Baptist Church and an Army veteran. Left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Mitz O. Yetter, (Keith), Robin O. Nelson, and Laura O. Vasser (Douglas), four brothers, Donald (Shirley), Ralph (Frances), Richard (Shaw), Wayne (Donie), and seven grandchildren, Crystal, Jennifer, Rheanna, Raymond, Lloyd Travis, Carla, and Cassidy, and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 AM Friday, December 14, 2012 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. James Foreman officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley, VA.
