Born on November 10, 1934 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Charles and Anna Pajkos Okleshen. He was also predeceased by his wife, Janet Parker Okleshen. Chuck served in the US Navy during the Korean War era and was a computer analyst for Union Camp and Virginia Chemical. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Chuck was a cancer survivor. Left to cherish his memory is three sons, Keith Lawrence Okleshen (Andrea) of Hanover, PA, Charles Kevin Okleshen (Paula) of Suffolk, and John Kirk Okleshen of Courtland; six grandchildren, Jessica Lee (Jerimiah), Travis Okleshen (Chris), Kellye Okleshen, Megan Kerr (Justin), Stephanie Okleshen, and Casey Okleshen; and eight great grandchildren, Naomi, Jacob, Wyatt, Collier, Dicey, Tatum, Killian, and Sophia. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 19, 2024 in St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Emmanuel Mensah officiating. Burial with Naval Honors will be at 1:30p.m. Friday at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Suffolk. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Thursday in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Catholic Church.
