Mrs Adele Salmon 

PORTSMOUTH - Mrs Adele Spivey Salmon, 29, of 3505 County St. died Tuesday 18 Apr 1961 at 12:35 am in her home after a long illness. She was a native of Jackson, NC, and lived in Portsmouth the last 19 years. 

She was a daughter of Eddie B. and Mrs Helen Spivey Odom of Portsmouth. She was a member of Creeksville Baptist Church, Creeksville, NC. 

Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Allen Duane Salmon; two sons, David Allen Salmon and Michael Bryan Salmon; two sisters, Mrs Walter E. Edwards and Mrs James Mosely Jr.; and two brothers, Eddie B. Odom Jr. and Mickey Donald Odom of Portsmouth. 

The body was taken to Snellings Funeral Home where a funeral service will be conducted Thursday 20 Apr 1961 at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Norfolk.
