NORFOLK Harold Netherland, 58, son of the late William Sam and Mrs. Addie Ward Netherland, died at a Norfolk hospital Thursday 13 November 1958 at 8:15 a.m.

He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Addie Lee Mapp, Mrs. Margaret Mapp, Miss Beverly Virginia Netherland and Miss Peggy Ann Netherland, all of Charlotte, N.C. and Mrs. Cora Lee Johnson of Norfolk; three sons, Johnie W. Netherland and Arthur E. Netherland, both of Norfolk, and Enoch E. Netherland of Ojus, Fla., and 18 grandchildren. Mr. Netherland was a native of Belhaven, N.C. and had been a resident of Norfolk for 56 years, residing at 8109 Turner Rd.

The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to the First Freewill Baptist Church, Little Creek, for funeral services Sunday 16 November 1958 at 2 p.m. The body will be at the church an hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
