Lorine McLeod Myatt 7 MAY 1924 - 14 NOV 2004 WILLOW SPRING Lorine McLeod Myatt, 78, died Sunday, November 14, 2004. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16 at Fellowship Baptist Church, Willow Spring. Burial, church cemetery. Mrs. Myatt retired from the Raychem Corporation in 1992 after many years of dedicated service. She was a very active member of Fellowship Baptist Church since the church s beginning. She was especially fond of the years she spent as a 2nd grade Sunday School Teacher as well as the many nights she spent visiting rest homes to brighten someone else s day. She knew that a better home awaited her in heaven and there is no doubt that she is now in heaven where angels belong. Mrs. Myatt was preceded in death by her husband, William Coyt Myatt, and a son, Donald Coyt Myatt. Surviving, daughter, Wanda Tanner of Angier; grandsons, Jim Jones and wife, Sherri of Fuquay-Varina, Wesley Jones of Raleigh; great granddaughter, Ashton Jones; sisters, Inez Dean, Vera Denton and husband, David Denton all of Willow Spring, Jeanette Matthews and husband, Bobby Matthews of Angier; brothers, Ralph McLeod and wife , Doris of Angier, Glenn McLeod and wife, Jean of Wilmington; many beloved nieces and nephews also survive.
