Suffolk, June 11. – Mrs. Cora Lee Hatfield, 47, wife of H. L. Hatfield, died this morning 11 Jun 1936 at her home near Black Creek, Southampton County, after an illness of one month. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Ashley Phillips Hatfield, and two daughters, Mrs. Lessie Hatfield Bailey and Miss Leafy Marion Hatfield of Southampton County.  

Funeral services will be held at Black Creek Church Friday 12 Jun 1936 at 3 p.m., and burial will be in the church cemetery.
