Surry - Gregory K. Mosher, 59, passed away Sept. 1, 2014 after a battle with cancer. 

Greg, a native of Portsmouth, was an outside machinist for Newport News Shipbuilding, and formerly worked as an auto repairman at Greenbrier GMC. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and was a NASCAR fan. 

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Karen L. Mosher; children, Gregory K. Mosher, Jr. (Nora), Kevin D. Mosher, and Pamela J. Rickmond (Scott); six grandchildren; siblings, Elizabeth M. Bunch, Shirley Mosher, Donald G. Mosher, Jr. (Mary Lou), James K. Mosher (Peggy); and extended family. 

A memorial service will be held at 7 p. m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, Suffolk, followed by a visitation for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be registered at bakerfoster.com.
