Terry Morris Obituary Terry Allen Morris March 6, 1959 - March 4, 2024 Suffolk - The "One and Only - Legendary" Terry Allen Morris, 64, of Holland, VA departed this earth on March 4, 2024. Terry is survived by his wife, Marbara Woods Morris and his brother, Kenny Wayne Morris of Currituck, NC. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Irene Conner, father, Kenneth Lewis Morris and his brother and his wife, Gary and Sherry Morris. Terry grew up in West VA and was very proud of his West "by God" VA roots. Many competitive conversations were had between the West VA and VA folks ‚Ķ. always in good fun. Terry never knew a stranger. He was a man with a big, generous heart who would do anything to help anyone. All who knew him experienced this one way or the other. Terry was a self-made man who made a name for himself in the road construction industry. Some of the significant projects he worked on were in Corpus Christi, the re-facing of the Statue of Liberty, the Delaware Memorial Bridge, and many, many miles of interstate. He even fell off the Oregan Inlet Bridge after a barge had hit it. Terry lived a full and vibrant life. His stories were "Legendary" as they came to be known. Terry‚Äôs interests were many ‚Ķ. from fishing, motorcycles, old cars, boats, trucks, travel, the great outdoors, etc., but mostly, he loved his wife, his family, his friends, his neighbors, and his boys. He had an amazing laugh and a wonderful smile with a "fun-loving" glint in his eye. Terry will be forever in our hearts and will be missed tremendously. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1 PM in the chapel at Wright Funeral Home in Franklin. VA.
