Mabel Morris Obituary Mabel Campbell Morris of Suffolk, Virginia, died on February 2, 2021 after a brief illness. She was 95 years young. She is survived by her four children, Randy (Janice), Debbie, Molly (Alan) and Jenny (Andy); seven grandchildren, Kemp, Mark, Emily, Anne, Katie, Kerry, Drew; fourteen great grandchildren, Luke, Sam, Rocco, Zachary, Dylan, Ethan, Cooper, Tucker, Meyer, Everett, Reid, Jack, Katelyn, and Mackenzie; and sister, Nancy. She was predeceased by her husband, Kemp; granddaughter, Teresa; brother, Ralph and sisters, Bet and Ethel. Mabel was married for 69 years to her high school sweetheart, Kemp and spent 23 of those married years as a Navy wife. She was an avid reader, gardener, bird and wildlife lover. She spent many of her years outdoors walking the beaches and riding her bike at her beloved home in the village of Frisco, North Carolina. Mabel was a free spirit, a woman always ahead of the times. "Nanny" or Gran Nan as she was affectionately called will be missed by all of her family who will keep her spirit alive as it shines brightly through their memories of being loved and cared for by such a special woman.
