Charles Morphew 

Funeral services were conducted at the First Baptist Church here last Saturday afternoon [31 March 1962] for Charles Leonard Morphew, 30, former Maysville resident. 

Morphew, whose home was at Perryton, Texas, died late last Thursday [29 March 1962] at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City. 

Rev. Johnny Walker of Odessa, Texas, conducted the services, assisted by Rev. Winston Foster of Maysville. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Pauls Valley, under the direction of the Stufflebean Funeral Home. 

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jackie Morphew; two daughters, Linda and Cindy; a son, Danny; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Morphew of Maysville; a sister, Mrs. Delores Jo Hendrix of Sedalia, Mo.; and three brothers, Jim Morphew of Purcell, Phillip Morphew of Kansas City, Mo., and Lloyd Morphew of Maysville.
