Chesapeake - Virginia Sebolt "Prissy" Meeks, 63, passed away May 9, 2013. 

Mrs. Meeks, a native of Portsmouth, was a certified nursing assistant for many years. 

Survivors include two sons, Bryan Meeks and Michael Meeks; 3 grandchildren; and her sons' father, Alton Ray "Butch" Meeks. 

Friends may join the family Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p. m. at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk. A graveside funeral will be held at 3 p. m. Thursday, May 16 at Newman Memorial Cemetery adjacent to Oakland Christian Church, 5641 Godwin Blvd, Suffolk, Va. 23434 (Chuckatuck). Condolences may be registered at www.bakerfoster.com.
