Ray McFatter Obituary William Ray McFatter February 21, 1947 - November 27, 2014 Ray McFatter Franklin - William Ray "Bill" McFatter, 67, passed away November 27, 2014. He was an Army Veteran, retired truck driver and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Nikki M. White of Elizabeth City, NC. ; and one sister, Virginia M. Riddick (Mills) of Powell’s Point, NC; one brother, J. Wayne McFatter (Ginger) of Franklin; one grandchild, Michael Dale "Pee Wee" White; two cousins, William Earl Wilkins and Carolyn Harrup both of Windsor; and several nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his parents, Willie Marvin McFatter and Ida Virginia Holland McFatter and a brother, James Marvin McFatter. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery with the Rev. Lindsay Poteat officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 7:30 PM at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Kathy Worrell, 717 Fairview Drive, Franklin, VA 23851.
