Adelene C. McCoy Feb. 27, 2002. A native of Zuni, she [Adelene C. McCoy] had been a Peninsula resident for 54 years. She retired from Colonial Stores in 1980 after 25 years of service. She was a member of Orcutt Baptist Church. Mrs. McCoy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mariah Clark, and her brothers, Curtis Clark and his wife, Marion, Dick Clark and his wife, Ocie, and Raby and Wilson Clark. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Harris and her husband, Robert, of Yorktown; her son, Jay Harrison and his wife, Wendy, of Roswell, Ga.; six grandchildren, Teresa Moseley and her husband, Paul, of Seaford, Dudley Harris and his wife, Kim, of Newport News, Kevin Harrison and his wife, Jennifer, of Hampton and Kelly, Kathy and Keith; her brother, Eldridge Clark of Ivor; two sisters-in-law, Viola Clark of Franklin and Bea Clark of Newport News; and great-grandchildren, Shelby and Gracie Harris of Newport News, Cassie, Jacob, Jessica and Amanda, all of Hampton, and eight other great-grandchildren. A special thanks to the Riverside Hospice and also a special thanks to her caregivers, Robbie Beasley, Jo Curtis and Dee Hobson and to her friends at The Hidenwood.
