Randy Dale May 

RALEIGH - Randy Dale May, 49, a native of Raleigh. Randy was a beloved husband, father and friend. He passed away at Rex Hospital Sunday April 7th 2002 after a year long battle with cancer. Randy was employed with Bell South for 28 years. He was an avid sports fan, especially N.C. State football and basketball. 

Surviving is his wife, Cindy of 29 years; two sons, Wesley Dale May and Ryan Curtis May, both of Wilmington; his two dogs, Shadow and Austin. He was the son of C.T. and Madie Chalk May of Raleigh; brother, Terry May and wife, Hae Sun of Ashburn, Virginia. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Brown Wynne Funeral Home on Millbrook Road. Interment will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park. 

Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Tuesday April 9, 2002 at the funeral home. 

He was greatly loved by all who knew him.

Flowers are accepted, donations may be made to the Cancer Research for Lymphoma. 

The family expresses gratitude to Dr. Zeitler, his staff and all other doctors and nurses from Rex Hospital family, especially nurses of 5 East and 6 East.
