Shirley Mason Obituary Shirley Johnson Mason December 11, 1928 － December 20, 2023 Franklin － Shirley Johnson Mason, 95, passed away December 20, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. Shirley was a native of Handsom and a daughter of the late James Clee Johnson, Sr. and Pearl Ritter Johnson. She was also predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Raymond Eugene Mason, a sister, Ruby J. Wiggins and three brothers, Luke, Boots and J.C. Johnson, Jr. Shirley was a graduate of Newsoms High School, a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church and a longtime Franklin Beautician. Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Mason Montgomery (Gary) of Amelia Courthouse, two sons, Greg Mason (Belinda), Ronnie Mason (Pat), both of Franklin, four grandchildren, Cheryl M. Drake (Eric), Brent R. Mason (Stephanie), Austin Montgomery( Taylor), Hunter Montgomery (London Bockman), five greatgrandchildren, Brooklynn and Garrett Drake, Dawson Joyner, Avalynn Mason and Isla Montgomery and her beloved cat, Baby. A Graveside service will be held at 1pm Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Poplar Spring Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Faison, officiating. The family will receive friends at Shirley‚Äôs home at 27172 Beale Road in Franklin and suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity. The family would like to thank Shirley‚Äôs caretakers, Candi, Kathy, Ebony, Tica, Gloria, Jennifer, and Angie with Gentiva Hospice for their wonderful care of our mother.
