Suzanne MacDonald Obituary Suzanne C. MacDonald passed peacefully in her sleep on September 28, 2021. She was a long term cancer survivor, but succumbed that evening. She served the country and soldiers who guard it, a steadfast army wife and as a DOD civilian with the Army Training Support Center for 20 years until retirement. She is predeceased by her parents, Roger and Cecilia Monet; daughter, Monique Swauger (Harry); grandson, Cameron MacDonald; brothers, Arther (Joanie) and Peter, and her beloved husband, John. She is survived by her son, John MacDonald (Candice) of Suffolk, Va; brother Larry; sister, Marcia (Paul) both of Florida; grandsons, Connor (Miharu) of Japan, Christian, Chase, and Collin MacDonald of Suffolk, Va, Jacob and Justin Swauger of Maryland; and numerous neices and nephews around the country. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either The Disabled American Veterans or the Wounded Warrior Project. Floral Arrangements are being handled through Johnson's Garden Center of Suffolk.
