Besides his father he is survived by his wife May Anne; brothers James Lucente and wife Lark of Courtland, and Joseph Lucente and wife Maureen of Virginia Beach; sister Victoria Lucente; nieces Jacqueline Lucente, Lindsey Lucente, Dawn Hyatt (Mike), Erica Viola (Matt) and Julia Grillo; nephews Joseph Lucente, Geogie Grillo (Michele), Steven Fela, and JoJo Grillo (Desiree). 

A Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Therese's Catholic Church, 4139 Portsmouth Blvd, Chesapeake VA 23321 on Wednesday, January 15 at 11 a. m. with burial at 1:30 p. m. at Princess Anne Memorial Park,1110 North Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach VA 23454. The family will receive friends in Baker-Foster Funeral Home, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk from 2 to 4 p. m. and from 6 to 7 p. m. on Tuesday, January 14, with a Christian Wake Service at 7 p. m.
