Obituary of Iola Lewis OCT 1893 - 28 MAY 1980 Iola L. Holland Mrs. Iola Lewis Holland, 87, of Chuckatuck Station, Suffolk died Wednesday, May 28. Mrs. Holland was a native of Isle of Wight County and the widow of Junius Walter Holland. She was a member of the Oakland Christian Church, Chuckatuck, and a member of the Newman Bible Class. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Mary) Scott, Mrs. Blanche West, both of Smithfield; Mrs. Junie Forrest of Portsmouth; Mrs. Garnell Chapman of Crittenden; and Mrs. Iola Saunders of Chuckatuck; one son, N.W. Jack Holland of Portsmouth, also 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 31, at 2:30 p.m. at the Oakland Christian Church with the Rev. William M. Everhart officiating. Interment was in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harvey Saunders Sr., Authur Joyner, Shelton Dailey, Jimmy West, Kevin Drummond, P.D. Howell, B.R. Martin, and Jack Knight. Colonial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
