Born and raised in Franklin, he was a son of the late Claude Elmer Lassiter, Sr. and Ruby Lee Jones Lassiter. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Robert W. Lassiter and Claude Elmer Lassiter, Jr. Glenn attended Forest Glen High School and was an exceptional small motor mechanic. He worked at Johnson Lawn and Garden, Herrala Brothers, and later at Walmart’s Automotive Department. Glenn was highly loyal to family and friends and never met a stranger. Left to cherish his memory are two sisters, Kathryn Cutchins (Rochelle) and J. Onella Lassiter, and a host of nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 3PM on Friday, May 3, 2024 in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Inman and Chaplain Sharon Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests memorial donations be made to Courtland Volunteer Rescue or to any volunteer fire or rescue of your choice.
