B.N. Lankford 

ISLE OF WIGHT - Bernard N. Lankford, 76, of Carrsville and a lifelong Isle of Wight County native, died Wednesday, Feb. 17[1993].

He retired from the automotive maintenance department at Union Camp Corp. Mr. Lankford was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. 

Survived by his wife, Lillian D. Lankford; a daughter, Betty L. Butler of Carrsville; three sons, Bernard L. Lankford of Canada and Bobby E. Lankford and Joseph W. Lankford of Carrsville; three sisters, Martha L. Vaughan of Windsor, Bernice L. Edwards of Central Hill and Dorothy L. Carr of Suffolk; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. 

Visitation at the residence. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday [20 Feb 1993] at Beaver Dam Baptist Church by the Revs. John Watson and Donald Trump. Burial in church cemetery. Memorials to Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Carrsville 23315. Arrangements by Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
