CHARLOTTE Mr. Hurley Dalton King, 60, Charlotte, N.C., died Wednesday, July 31, 1985.  

Mr. King was born in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and had formerly lived in Winston-Salem. He was a sales consultant with the Gold Bond Division of National Gypsum Co. He was a retired lieutenant colonel in the North Carolina National Guard.  

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nell Fulton King, of the home; four sons, H. Dalton King, Yardley, Pa., W. Edward King, Hamilton, Mass., and Benjamin F. and Franklin L. King, both of Charlotte; and one granddaughter.  

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 1985, at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church in Pineville with burial following in the church cemetery.  

Memorials are preferred to Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, Rt. 1, Box 117, Pineville, N.C. 28134. Arrangements by Hankins and Whittington Funeral Home of Charlotte.
