Charles Keeter Obituary Charles O Keeter, Jr. October 26, 1931 - April 16, 2013 Sedley- Charles O. "Charlie" Keeter, Jr., 81, passed away April 16, 2013 at his residence. Charlie was born in Franklin, a son of the late Charles O. Keeter, Sr. and Irene Holland Keeter. He was predeceased by his wife, Mertie "Billie" W. Keeter and a sister, Myrtle Goodman. Charlie was a member of Sedley Baptist Church, an honorary member of the Delaware Hunt Club and he was a retired supervisor in the Woodlands Department of Union Camp after 30 years of service. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Van Horn and husband Eddie of Ohio; four sons, Rae Keeter and wife Betty, Keith Keeter, Dean Keeter and wife Pat all of Franklin, and Earl Faison and wife Judy of Colonial Heights; a sister, Cynthia Garris and husband Wesley of Windsor; a brother, Carroll Keeter and wife Carol of Newsoms; nine grandchildren, Donna Mounce, Rene Cassort, Jay Faison, Cheryl Snell, Kristie Holt, Brandon Keeter, Christina Marchese, Charlie D. Keeter, and Chad Keeter; six great-grandchildren, Brittany Snell, Justin Snell, Kaitlin Cassort, Austin Hague, Charles D. Keeter, and Fenton Holt. A funeral service will be held at 11AM, Friday, April 19, 2013 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Jim Foreman officiating. The burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park.
