Samuel W. Joyner Plant Manager, Dies in Hospital  

Samuel Wesley Joyner, vice president and plant manager of the Douglas Chemical Co. here, died today 5 April 1962 in a Richmond hospital.  

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.  

Mr. Joyner had been with the local paint manufacturing firm, located on Staples Mill Rd., for more than 15 years.  

His home was at 8511 Julian Rd.  

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Rogers Joyner; a brother, Charles Joyner of Capron; and a sister, Mrs. Fred Hamilton of Richmond.
