Ann Jordan Obituary Ann Bryant Jordan March 21, 1930 - May 12, 2016 Boykins- Ann Bryant Jordan,86, widow of Louis F. Jordan passed away peacefully at her home May 12, 2016 with loved ones by her side. She was a lifelong resident of Southampton County and was predeceased by her parents, Felix and Rosa Hill Bryant. She was predeceased by seven siblings, Inez Worrell, Hazel Jenkins, Maude Bryant, Stephen Bryant, Harry Bryant, George Bryant and W.T. Bryant. She was also predeceased by a special friend , Howard Barrett. Mrs. Jordan was a 1947 graduate of Newsoms High School and was a member of Branchville United Methodist Church. Prior to her marriage she worked at Virginia National Bank in Boykins. Mrs. Jordan was a dedicated wife and mother who cared for many other family and friends throughout the years. Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Kim Nixon (Tim) of Courtland, two sons, Keith Jordan (Cherie) of Margarettsville,NC and Kevin Jordan (Robert Graham) of Sacramento, CA, five grandchildren, Sarah Nixon (Corey Stephens), Matthew Nixon, Caleb Newsome (Melanie), Dylan Jordan and McKinley Jordan, one great grandchild, Tristain Newsome, three sisters-in-law, Shirley Bryant, Betty Kirkland and Mary Elizabeth Bryant, many nieces and nephews and two special caregivers, Donna Reece and Shayna Speight. A graveside funeral will be held Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 1:30PM at Beechwood Cemetery with the Rev. Andrew Book officiating.
