ROBERT L. JOHNSON 

Funeral services were held today [4 January 1969] at 2 p.m. for Robert Lee Johnson, 62, who died Thursday [2 January 1969]. The Rev. W. P. Pope officiated from the Wrenn-O'Neal Funeral Chapel and burial was in Cedarwood Cemetery. 

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ollie Patterson of Roanoke Rapids; three sons, Robert E., Willie Lee, and Marvin F. Johnson of Roanoke Rapids; four brothers, Joe of Petersburg, Va., Johnny of Jackson, Roy of Gibsonville, and Jesse Johnson of Emporia, Va.; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Edwards of Enfield, Mrs. Margaret Turner of Branchville, Va., Mrs. Virginia Black of Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. Maude Price of Gumberry; 18 grandchildren.
