Heart Attack Kills Richard Johnson  

SNOW HILL - Richard M. Johnson, 60, carpenter, died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday 8 September 1957 in his home here. Son of the late William and Nancy Johnson of Carrsville, Va., he was a World War I veteran and a member of the American Legion, Worcester Post No. 67.  

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ann M. Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Clay E. Dennis Funeral Home tomorrow 11 September 1957 at Snow Hill with the Rev. Harvey B. Flater, of Bates Methodist Church officiating. Interment in the Downing Cemetery, Oak Hall, Va. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight 10 September 1957, 7 to 9 p.m.
